Potato Gratin Recipe

This rich and delicious classic French dish is a rich and delicious way to enjoy potatoes. Thinly sliced potatoes are baked until tender and golden brown, then layered with a creamy garlic sauce.

  • Cook Time: 1 hour, 15 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 hour, 35 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • (190 degrees C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, arrange sliced potatoes.
  • Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes and top with the Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, covered with foil.
  • Remove the foil and continue baking for another 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  • Allow 10 minutes to cool before serving.
