Potato Puree with Green Onions Recipe
This creamy and savory potato puree with green onions goes well with a variety of main courses. The addition of green onions gives the dish a fresh flavor and color.
Ingredients
- 4 thinly sliced green onions
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- Season with salt and pepper to taste

- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes
Instructions
- A large pot of salted water should be brought to a boil.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
- Return the potatoes to the pot after draining.
- Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or fork until smooth after adding the butter and milk to the pot.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste after adding the sliced green onions.
